Rotary Club of Montreal N.D.G West Celebrates Taste of Türkiye with the Presence of the President of
Rotary Montreal, District 7040 The Rotary Club of Montreal West and N.D.G., in collaboration with the Association of Turkish Businesswomen and the CTBC Women Network – Montreal Chapter, organized a special cultural event entitled Taste of Türkiye. Community members gathered to celebrate Turkish heritage through food, music, and dance. This event was not only a celebration of culture, but also a reflection of Rotary’s values of friendship, service, and compassion. The event was attended by Bill Korbatly, President of Rotary Montreal, accompanied by his team — TV presenter Nour Sobhy and director Ahmed Bondok — in a show of moral support for the club’s initiatives and Rotary’s mission of serving the community. Their presence reflected the spirit of unity and collaboration within the Rotary family, particularly in supporting efforts to aid those affected by natural disasters in Türkiye. In her remarks, Semiha Yesim Sengunay, President of the Rotary Club of Montreal West and N.D.G., stressed that Taste of Türkiye is more than just an event; it is an opportunity to stand together as a global family, celebrate cultural diversity, and strengthen Rotary’s core values of service and friendship. The evening was a remarkable example of how cultural exchange and humanitarian service can come together, building bonds across borders and reminding us that even the simplest acts of generosity can bring about meaningful and lasting change.
